Georges St-Pierre Expected To Recover From Eye Injury

Good news for the champ…

Georges St-Pierre injured his left eye during his UFC 129 bout with Jake Shields. Trainer Greg Jackson has stated that St-Pierre suffered internal bleeding in the eye, which severely affected his ability to fight, but stated that he is expected to make a full recovery. St-Pierre posted the following on Twitter…

"I'll need to see a doctor in the next days! Yesterday I was told it was not a retina problem."
