Paul Daley missed hitting the required weight for his scheduled welterweight title fight against Yuya Shirai at BAMMA 5. Daley's manager Wad Alameddine says that Daley came in just under a point over the required weight and as a result, the fight has been switched to a three-round non-title fight and Daley has forfeited part of his fight money to Shirai. Daley initially weight two points over, with the second attempt registering at 400 grams (0.88 pounds) over.
